Physics you can play with.
Jugnix is a free collection of interactive physics simulations for students in India, from Class 6 to Class 12 and JEE. Instead of memorising why the Moon changes shape or how a gear ratio works, you move things around and watch it happen.
Play first
Every page starts with something to drag, spin or launch. You try it before you read about it.
Real physics
The motion on screen comes from the same equations as in your textbook, so what you see is what the physics says.
Made for your syllabus
Each simulation is matched to an NCERT chapter or JEE topic, with a quiz and answers to the questions students ask.
Why we built it
Physics is about things that move: planets, wheels, rockets, light. But most of us learn it from still diagrams on a page. A diagram can show the Moon at Purnima. It can't let you push the Moon round Earth and watch Purnima turn into Amavasya.
The name comes from jugnu, the Hindi word for firefly: a small light that helps you see in the dark. That's what we want each simulation to be for a tricky idea.
Who it's for
- Students who want to understand a chapter, not just learn it by heart. No sign-up needed.
- Teachers who want to show an idea on a projector or smart board, and let the class predict what happens next.
- Parents looking for screen time that actually teaches something.
Meet Jugnu
Jugnu is our firefly guide. Jugnu flies along on every page, gives hints, cheers when you earn a star and has a fun fact ready if you tap. Stars and badges stay on your own device; we never see them.
